Ready To Learn Something New?

It’s tough being a noob. Whether you’re just starting out in a new sport, learning to play an instrument, or looking to get into photography, you’re going to have to go through a bit of pain (sometimes literally) to get to where you want to be.

And when you start looking for tips to help you online you’ll often come across a TON of conflicting information. Which sucks big time.

But don’t worry, we’re here to help.

If you’re a pro, then this site is NOT FOR YOU.

If you’re an intermediate this site is NOT FOR YOU.

Because this site is designed for noobs and noobs alone.

We aim to cut through the BS and give you simple, actionable tips, and advice on picking the right equipment for your hobby.

You won’t find 5,000 word articles full of drawn out waffle. You’ll find short descriptive posts in simple language that you’ll understand.

Are We Experts On Everything?

No.

In our team we have good experience across a wide range of activities and where possible will give advice from personal experience. You’ll be able to tell when that is the case.

But when we don’t have first hand experience of a sport, or activity, we will do the hours of research, so you can get straight to the answer you need.

What’s In It For Us?

If you buy a product through one of our affiliate links we’ll get a small commission. But we can honestly say that we’re recommending particular products because they are THE BEST for beginners.

In fact in many cases you’ll find that we are recommending the cheapest products out there – and that’s because they are the best for beginners. Like golf balls for example.

Where Should You Start?

Pick a category (music, sport, or tech) and browse through our posts. When you find a new hobby you’re interested in taking up, then read the associated ‘How To Take Up X’ guide.

Learning a new skill, or taking up a new hobby is an AWESOME thing to do. It satisfies our desire as humans to constantly better ourselves.
