BuyWake.com Wakeboard Store Review [prices, delivery, and returns]

Looking to stack your wakeboard gear, and wondering if BuyWake.com is legit? Our 2-minute review has got you covered.

Whether you’re looking for a wakeboard or a new wetsuit, there’s no doubt that nowadays, the place you need to be to get the cheapest prices, is online.

But if a website isn’t on the likes of Amazon or eBay, how do you know it’s legit? The simple answer is by doing a little research, which I’ve took the time to do for you 😊.

Is BuyWake.com Legit?

buywake wakeboard shopThis is only a 3-minute read, but if you want the quick answer, BuyWake.com is a legit company offering an excellent range of wakeboarding gear at ridiculously low prices.

Since 1997, the company has been supplying wakeboard riders with gear from some of the best brands in the world; you can pick from 1,000s of products.

They’ve now established themselves as one of the most reputable online wakeboard shops on the market and continue to grow year on year.

Go ahead and check out their about page here.

Prices & Discount Codes

Prices at the BuyWake shop are already some of the most competitive in the industry. On occasion, they’ll offer discount codes, or big sales (like on Black Friday).

Don’t take our word for it though, feel free to compare prices back to back before making a purchase.

It’s not just about price though. What we’ve found recently is a lot of big e-commerce stores simply don’t have the stock that BuyWake has.

Online Reviews

shopper approved buywake reviewsThe first thing you need to be doing before purchasing from a company you don’t know about, is check out their online reviews.

What I managed to find for the BuyWake store was positive. You’ll see half a dozen positive reviews per day hitting their website on their reviews page here.

On top of that, you can also check out Shopper Approved. It’s a site that lets buyer’s give reviews on websites when they make a verified purchase. So, instead of reviews being on the BuyWake wakeboarding shop, they’re on Shopper Approved here instead.

The current review rating is 4.8/5, from over 6,000 reviews and counting! That’s extremely high in comparison to some of their competitors.

Delivery

Delivery is a big one. I find nothing more frustrating than thinking I’ve bagged myself a bargain, only to realize that not all charges are transparent.

I’m buying something for say, $70, thinking I’m getting a good deal from an online store. On checkout, I suddenly find there are taxes to be added on, and a hefty delivery charge of $10 or more, even more for international shipping.

That’s not the case with BuyWake.com. They’re not trying to fool anyone; all domestic orders in the USA are shipped free if you spend over $49. So, that’s going to cover all the lower 48 states.

Better still, orders placed before 3pm E.T. are usually shipped the same day, with the quickest delivery method getting your new wakeboarding gear to your door within 24 hours.

There are full details of domestic shipping methods here.

As always, if you need international shipping, then charges and timescales for delivery are going to vary, but BuyWake have made everything completely clear here.

Contacting BuyWake

If additional charges at checkout don’t annoy you, this bug bear will; struggling to speak to a REAL person when you have a question.

Ever had a question about delivery, returns, or warranty? Before you know it your forwarded through to various FAQs, which rarely answer your questions, a ridiculous system and extremely annoying.

Again, this is where BuyWake trumps other wakeboarding shops; they’re easy to contact via phone, email, or online contact form.

If you need to ask them anything before or after a purchase you can find all the details you need on their contact page.

Returns Policy

Another sign of a shop that isn’t legit? A returns process that is ridiculously difficult, it’s like they take your money and run!

That’s not the case with BuyWake.com. As you can see here, you can raise a ticket order for a return or the fulfilment of a warranty quickly and easily using this form.
